The Next Natural Disaster in Haiti

The death toll in the aftermath of the natural disasters that ravaged Haiti reached 500, according to Radio France Internationale.

So Fay, Gustav, Hannah, and Ike is history. But natural disasters remain a major threat that strike at any time. Next year, at least a natural disaster may hit again. More than ever, the country needs to set up plans to reduce significantly the destruction of human lives, the environment and personal properties.
